I don't normally care much for French culture, but I admire their
devotion to wine. Most of my current favorites are from California,
though, and I also like some of the Washingtonian and Oregonian wineries.
I used to say I liked Italian reds and German whites, but I'm becoming a
fan of Pinot Grigio, a dry Italian white,
and even of Frascati, a fairly cheap thirst-quencher made near Rome.

Man is the animal that drinks wine. Since the beginning of time, careless bipeds have been leaving fruit juice lying around. Shortly after which, foolish bipeds have tasted the results, and become much wiser - wise enough not to try that again. Until the next time. |

Last time my goofball friend, pictured, and I went to Sonoma, we got a little carried away. |
